Domaine des Billards belongs to the Barbet and Teissier families since the 18th century.
In the old parchment purchase book, you can still see some of the high-society names of that era, such as in 1774: 10 different wines were sold to the Marquis de Turgot, Finance Minister of Louis XVI and in 1781: 2 red wines to the Comte de Choiseul.

Saint-Amour AOP.
The lieu-dit "Billards" is clearly defined. Over the centuries, the alchemy of the soils, the vine and mankind turned this plot into a rich and unique heritage. This Saint-Amour has a round and supple attack, followed by a generous and lingering structure, and ending on a rich finish.
AOP Saint-Amour "Le Clos des Billards".
Located mid-slope south-east of the Saint-Amour vineyard, in the lieu-dit "Les Billards", the Clos des Billards holds soils made of sand, pebbles and clay seams. Aromas of red berries and a spicy touch of chocolate.
