Constructed in the 12th century, Château de la Pierre was one of the main fortifications used to defend the capital of Sires de Beaujeu. Owned by the Maison Jean Loron, it encompasses 12 hectares of 50-year-old vines. No added sulfites at any stage. This wine has well-blended tannins and a balance that edges towards freshness, with a delicately acidic, fruity and persistent finish.
Very old vines in stony soil made from pink granite.
Small grapes harvested by hand at the perfect stage of ripeness. Gentle extraction by punching down to release the tannins. Ageing on fine lees. This Régnié contains no added sulphites.
