This requires us to constantly adapt our vineyard work at the last minute. However, thanks to replenished water reserves, we can still hope for the best in 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Did you know?<\/strong><br>The grapevine flower is hermaphroditic!<br>It doesn\u2019t need insects or other vectors for pollination and fruit formation.<br>However, our farming practices \u2014 such as planting cover crops between the rows and maintaining hedgerows along some plots \u2014 encourage the proliferation of a wide variety of species, which turns out to be the best natural way to control pests!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This spring 2025 offered us optimal conditions for preparing the soils and planting Gamay: While the weather conditions at the start of the season proved somewhat milder than in 2024, they have now become unstable, and the medium-term forecasts are relatively poor.
