The vines that produce Jean are mainly planted on the hills just outside Lyon. It has roundness in the mouth with a pleasant sweetness. The balance is perfect. Readily accessible, Jean is full of freshness with a very soft finish.

The vines face east/south-east. Their roots are firmly anchored in the granite and magma rocks formed more than 320 million years ago in the foothills of the Massif Central.
Partial destemming. Long maceration for a gentle extraction. Aged on fine lees.
