This year, we are fortunate to be among a selection of great wines expressing their terroir of origin with precision and a purity of definition never before achieved. Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve sign their 27th guide to the best wines.

🍷 Our parcel selections were chosen by Michel Bettane as offering “the best of the potential” of the terroirs with a score reaching 94/100 for the Saint-Amour “Clos des Billards” 2018. More than honorable recognition for our vineyard and cellar teams.

SAINT-AMOUR, CLOS DES BILLARDS 2020 – 92/100
The floral and spicy nose, as is often the case, is not at all like the more classic character found from Brouilly to Fleurie, but recalls the peony of certain Côte de Beaune terroirs, with an astonishing intensity of tannic support. 15€

MORGON, CHÂTEAU BELLEVUE, CÔTE DE PY 2020 – 90/100
More surly and earthy on the nose, but more energetic on the palate, with a licorice and mineral finish. 25€

JULIENAS, DOMAINE DE LA VIEILLE EGLISE, LE CLOS DES POULETTES 2020 – 90/100
Great color, powerful nose, with notes of plum quetsche. 20€.

REGNIE, CHÂTEAU DE LA PIERRE, NO SULFUR ADDED 2021 – 88/100
Lovely ripeness of the grapes for the vintage, supple, very pure, the opposite of so many other wines obeying the same principle. Charming, easy-drinking, the very idea of the natural style of Gamay. 12€
