Not far from the Roche de Solutré, listed Grand Site de France, Domaines Auvigues have a rich history in the heart of the Pouily-Fuissé appellation. The vineyard stretches to the ends of Mâconnais with vines nestled in the village of Chardonnay. They truly took off in the 1970’s inspired by the multiple expressions of Chardonnay on these exceptional terroirs. In fact, the estate joined Maison Jean Loron in 1976. Céline Hirsch in the cellar works meticulously to give the wines a nice minerality and tension.
