POUILLY-FUISSE 1ER CRU

The Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru was born with the 2020 Vintage. Maison Jean Loron harvests their Chardonnay grape variety on the splendid terroir “Au Vignerais“. It is one of the 22 climates classified as 1er Cru in the Roche de Solutré sector. This favourable terroir is rich thanks to its clay-limestone and stony soil, and provides an interesting minerality to the grape variety.

This Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru is gifted with beautiful length and great finesse. A controlled vinification and a maturation called “haute couture” only intensifies the wine quality. This exceptional wine is the result of a subtle blend of 12 months maturation in new oak barrels and stainless steel vats. This maturation reveals an enjoyable power in the mouth.

The complexity of this 1er Cru will appeal to those who appreciate the purity and the elegance of the great wines of Burgundy.
