Some News from the Jean Loron’s Vineyards

The coldness of the month of May (2.6 ° C below the seasonal averages) resulted in a relatively slow growth during the vegetative period. Nevertheless, it has greatly accelerated for the past 15 days with the arrival of heat, leading us to predict a beautiful growth of grapes and a beautiful maturation. We are, by the way, already in bloom in the early sectors.

The vines are in an incredibly perfect sanitary condition, and this despite the meteorological difficulties encountered, such as frost, lack of water and wind gusts, which have resulted in several broken branches, especially on the whites.

We are planning the harvest for the first half of September.
