With its rural vineyard setting skimming the peaks of the Monts du Beaujolais, awarded by UNESCO as Geopark, the Château offers a timeless haven of relaxation. A 19th-century residence of character overlooking the village of Villié-Morgon, it was once home to the family of the Lumière brothers.
The estate, managed by Elodie Rousselot with 24 hectares of vines, has a magnificent cellar that was completely renovated in 2009. More than just an estate, Château Bellevue is also a place to live and share, with its guest rooms and function rooms. It is surrounded by one of the most beautiful parks in the region, with two-hundred-year-old trees and a variety of flowers all year round.
In 2024 : The Château was awarded “Best Hospitality in the Vineyard” by the french magazine La Revue du Vin de France. Château Bellevue is part of the group “Châteaux in Beaujolais”. Stay, taste, contemplate!

Tour in the wines, visit of the winery & Tasting of 5 wines
At Château Bellevue – Domaines Loron, the sustainable preservation of our winegrowing heritage is at the very heart of our mission. We invite you to discover the rich ecosystem surrounding this 19th-century estate through an engaging and immersive experience. Following a stroll through the vineyards surrounding the château, you will visit the winery and the cellars, before enjoying a tasting of 5 wines. You may then extend your experience in the botanical garden by following the paths of the discovery trail with the help of the visitor’s booklet.

Self-guided tour & Tasting of 3 wines
Self-guided tour with the path’s booklet and tasting of 3 wines.
Discover the Château’s three-hectare park with its rare and century-old tree species.
A variety of trees from all over the world are numbered and described in the booklet for a self-guided visit. The tree species are engraved on pieces of staves. During your visit, you will also discover viewpoints of Beaujolais’ emblematic landscape and even sometimes the Alps. On your way back to the Château’s winery, taste three of our wines.

Tour of the winery, the underground cellar & Tasting of 5 wines
During your visit, you will discover a unique winery, combining tradition and sophisticated equipment, entirely redesigned for single plot cuvées. A fabulous tool to imprint the nuance of the different terroirs. You will also visit the vaulted, underground cellar and finish off with a tasting of 5 wines from the estate. Tasting takes place in the Château’s park (weather permitting), where you can admire an exceptional panoramic view of the Saône Valley, Beaujolais and even sometimes the Alps.

The east wing of the Château is dedicated to guest rooms. The Château’s team offers a warm welcome all year round in its 5 bedrooms. Some rooms have private terraces and air conditioning.
Whether you choose the Chambre de la Princesse, the Chambre Pouprpre or the British Room, each room has its own unique atmosphere, with all the charm and elegance of this nineteenth-century building.
Breakfasts are mainly made with fresh local produce from local producers.
