D-8 before Harvest !

The 2017 vintage won’t go unnoticed. It reminds us already of 2015 and 2011, with an unseen record of sunshine hours from spring until now. The countdown has now started, D-8 before harvest, exclusively manual. Few grapes will be set aside during harvest as the sanitary condition are simply perfect, even if the size of the clusters is relatively small. Meanwhile, the cool nights contrast with the very hot days, and keep the clusters lively. The end of maturity is therefore optimal in Beaujolais and South Burgundy and the grape harvest gives us great hope. To be continued…
