Vine Pruning

The vine pruning starts after the 1st frosts, usually in December, and ends at the end of March. Each vine is pruned one by one during the winter by hand.
This delicate work, allows to limit the growth of the vine and to determine the quantity and the quality of the grapes of the next vintage.
The knowledge of the soil combined with the experience on the release of grapes each year, allows the winegrower to refine his way of pruning each vineyard.
