And during this time in the vineyard…

This April gives the ideal climatic conditions for planting on the soils prepared this winter.
New GAMAY NOIR vines have been planted in Beaujolais Crus for several weeks.

This stage is decisive and is in line with the restructuring of the vineyard initiated by Maison Jean Loron for several years. This step requires a high pace and physical effort, but a “planter” hitched to the rear of the tractor brings real benefits. It allows great precision and impressive planting speed.

This mechanical tool has many advantages, in particular the fact that the planting is done in whole roots (about 20 cm) ensuring excellent recovery of the plants thanks to better water supply.

Next step: trellising!
