The Beaujolais International Marathon in Château de la Terrière

The Beaujolais International Marathon has become France’s biggest running festival, with a record of over 23,000 participants and 70 different nationalities in 2023. This year, it takes place on Saturday 23 November. A big event in the heart of Beaujolais region between châteaux and vineyard. It’s an international sporting event that, like the Médoc Marathon, has the capacity to convey the  good mood and conviviality of our beautiful wine-growing region.

Once again this year in the 42 KM race, motivated runners, some in fancy clothes, Les Domaines Loron au Grand Tasting, one of the Domaines Loron. The Château de la Terrière stands in Cercié, facing Mount Brouilly, since the 14th century, in the heart of the Beaujolais region. It is one of the oldest estates in the region, producing Brouilly and Régnié wines from the surrounding vineplots worked by the vineyard team.

A big event for Château de la Terrière with a refreshment stand and entertainment. Good luck to all the runners !
