LIVE FROM THE VINEYARD

This spring 2025 offered us optimal conditions for preparing the soils and planting Gamay:

  • Brouilly “Bonnège” in Odenas (photo)
  • Le Clos des Billards in Saint-Amour
  • Le Clos du Château Bellevue
  • Chénas from Domaine de la Rochelle

While the weather conditions at the start of the season proved somewhat milder than in 2024, they have now become unstable, and the medium-term forecasts are relatively poor. This requires us to constantly adapt our vineyard work at the last minute. However, thanks to replenished water reserves, we can still hope for the best in 2025!

Did you know?
The grapevine flower is hermaphroditic!
It doesn’t need insects or other vectors for pollination and fruit formation.
However, our farming practices — such as planting cover crops between the rows and maintaining hedgerows along some plots — encourage the proliferation of a wide variety of species, which turns out to be the best natural way to control pests!
