At Maison Jean Loron, your satisfaction is our priority. When you purchase our wines from our online shop, you benefit from a right of withdrawal: you can change your mind and cancel your order, without having to give any reason. This page explains how to exercise this right, simply.
What is the right of withdrawal?
The right of withdrawal allows you, as a consumer, to change your mind about a purchase made remotely (on our website) without having to give a reason and without penalty. This is a right guaranteed by the French Consumer Code (Articles L221-18 et seq.).
How long do you have? (14-day period)
You have a period of 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal. This period begins on the day after the day on which you (or a person designated by you, other than the carrier) receive your order.
- Order delivered in a single shipment: the period starts upon receipt of the parcel.
- Order of several wines delivered separately, or in several lots: the 14-day period starts upon receipt of the last wine, lot or item of your order.
If the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal?
You have two ways to inform us of your decision to withdraw:
- Online, in just a few clicks (recommended): use our online withdrawal form below, available at all times via the “Exercise my right of withdrawal” link at the bottom of every page of our website. After submission, you will immediately receive a time-stamped acknowledgement of receipt by email, confirming the date and time of your request.
- In writing: by sending us the model withdrawal form reproduced below, or any unambiguous statement expressing your wish to withdraw, by email to boutique@loron.fr or by post to Maison Jean Loron – 1846 Route Nationale 6 – 71570 La Chapelle de Guinchay, France.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that your request be sent before the 14-day period expires.
Return of products and return costs
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the wines without undue delay and no later than 14 days after sending your request.
- The wines must be returned in their original packaging, complete and in good condition, so that they can be resold.
- Given the fragile nature of the bottles, we recommend using packaging suitable for transporting wine.
- The return costs are at your expense.
- You may be held liable in the event of depreciation of the products resulting from handling other than that necessary to verify the nature and characteristics of the wines.
Refund
We will refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
- The refund is made using the same means of payment as the one used for your order, unless expressly agreed otherwise by you, and at no cost to you.
- We may defer the refund until the wines have been recovered or until you have provided proof of dispatch of the return, whichever is the earlier.
- If you chose a more expensive delivery method than standard delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery.
