The old church in Juliénas, which had become too small in the 19th century to accommodate the faithful, was bought in 1868 by a member of the Loron family.
Since then, the wine-making vats have replaced the pews of this building located in the heart of the village. The vines of Domaine de la Vieille Eglise have been cultivated by local winegrowers for several generations. Today, Pascal Granger and his son continue this tradition.

AOP Juliénas "Le Clos des Poulettes".
This micro-plot is renowned as a remarkable lieu-dit with its location revealing a strong personality. The vines enjoy the beneficial effects of soils composed of many blue stones and old, pebbly alluvium. This wine has structure and an intense colour, offering spicy notes of candied black fruits.
Juliénas AOP.
The vines are 30 years old on average with a south/south-east exposure on the climat "Les Mouilles" (altered blue stone) and the climat "Les Gonnards". Aromas of griotte cherry melt with blackcurrant and raspberry, and a touch of liquorice brings it all together.
