If the story begins in 1711 on the steep Beaujolais slopes, in the heart of village of Chénas, it is in 1821 that the heir Jean-Marie Loron decides to settle his business and winery in Pontanevaux, not far from the railroad and major roads. With Chardonnay and Gamay Noir lies a meticulous know-how with a beautiful quest: produce great wines expressing the truth and purity of their original terroirs.
Between astonishing historical premises and redesigned spaces to welcome you, taste and visit this property half-way between Mâconnais and Beaujolais. In addition, special access to our wine library with old and rare vintages for sale!

Let yourself be guided along a tour that will take you from our ancient winery, which houses impressive historic presses from the 17th and 18th century, to our century-old cellars, among our collection of old vintages and barrels. We will open the doors of our century-old cellars for you and you will have the privilege of tasting a new vintage from the barrel while savoring all these
aromas. The tour will continue with a tasting of our Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru and of our wines from remarkable lieux-dits of our Beaujolais estates. The opportunity to discuss the art of maturing and to unveil all the richness of the magnificent terroirs from our single-varietal region.
