LE FIGARO : “These wine estates that are setting up their cellars in churches”
What a privilege to work in such places: the former church of Juliénas, now home to the Domaine de la Vieille Église, and the former church of Fuissé, now the Domaines Auvigue. This was also a thoughtful choice—one that reflects our pride in crafting wines in the beautiful regions of Mâconnais and Beaujolais.
Many thanks to Le Figaro Vin for this spotlight in their article: lefigaro.fr
Every day, our estates set the pace, the mindset, and a certain sense of humility. And when these places are steeped in history—like former churches—they radiate a unique creative energy.
Domaines Auvigue and Domaines Loron each bring life back to not one but two churches, now transformed into cellars and ageing caves, with dedicated vineyard and winemaking teams at the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé and Juliénas vineyards.
