On this International Chardonnay Day week, we would like to highlight a grape variety that lies at the heart of our work: Chardonnay.

At Domaines Auvigue in the Mâconnais and Domaines Loron in Beaujolais, we have developed a complementary interpretation of this emblematic grape variety. This dual territorial identity allows us to reveal, with precision, the many nuances of Chardonnay across two regions with closely related geological features, yet distinctly different expressions.

In this context, we are delighted to share a wonderful recognition received on Vinous for our Beaujolais Blanc “Princesse Lieven”, awarded 91/100 by Neal Martin, highlighting our approach to interpreting Chardonnay in Beaujolais.
