Wines JEAN
Jean is a rosé of pleasure to share with friends. The nose is intense, offering the typical freshness of the Gamay grape. It develops small red fruits aromas (redcurrant, raspberry) with a touch of blackcurrant and notes of white flowers.
The vineyards are mainly planted on granit slopes located around Lyon with East and South East exposures. Their roots are firmly anchored in granitic igneous rocks formed more than 320 million years ago.
Grapes from specific plots are selected for their perfect ripeness. This rosé is produced with direct pressing in an inert atmosphere to avoid any oxydation and to keep a fresh color and must.

Jean Chardonnay is full of freshness and leaves us on a persistant finish, very soft and smooth.
The vines are mainly planted on stony, limestone rich slopes at higher altitudes in the South of France. Cool nights combine with strong sunshine to balance richness and freshness.
Traditional vinification at controlled temperatures of 18°C. Aging one fine lees with control of malo-lactic fermentation.

The vines that produce Jean are mainly planted on the hills just outside Lyon. It has roundness in the mouth with a pleasant sweetness. The balance is perfect. Readily accessible, Jean is full of freshness with a very soft finish.

Partial destemming. Long maceration for a gentle extraction. Aged on fine lees.
